The Pelleve™ procedure is used to reduce wrinkles and restore skin tone. 

Pelleve™ triggers the deeper layer of the skin to heat up with a monopolar radiofrequency current, causing collagen molecules to shrink and new ones to form. Less pronounced wrinkles and restored skin tone are the results that can be seen immediately after a Pelleve™ procedure on the face, neck and décolleté, and last for several months, up to a year. Since the pain is minimal, no additional medication is needed to alleviate discomfort.

Procedure

A treatment gel is applied to the selected areas, followed by light pressures with the Pelleve™ device, gently stroking the skin as in a massage. While the radiofrequency current is performing its task in the deeper layers of the skin, the patient feels it as warming sensation.

Duration of the procedure

It usually takes 30 to 60 minutes to achieve the desired effect, depending on the size of the area being treated.
