Many people find body hair on different parts of the body aesthetically disturbing. Today, we know of effective methods to remove hairs. 

Hair laser reduction of body hair is suitable for both women and men. It can be used to remove hairs on all parts of the body, except around the eyes. Using a special attachment, we can also remove light, red and ingrown hairs on all skin types. Successful hair removal requires several repetitions and the skin must not have been exposed to ultraviolet light or tanned in recent weeks. Moreover, identifying the phototype of the skin is of utmost importance, and the intensity of the laser beam is adapted to it accordingly.

Permanent hair removal can be performed by electrolysis which is suitable for small areas of hairs and individual laser-resistant hairs of all colours on the face or elsewhere. The procedure can be carried out all year round, regardless of skin colour. It uses an extremely thin, insulated needle that is inserted along the hair shaft and targeted to heat the hair follicle to the point where it permanently collapses. A single hair is removed only once. Due to the non-synchronous growth of the hair, the procedure also needs to be repeated several times until all the hairs have been treated.

It is very important to remember that sometimes excessive hair growth is the result of certain diseases that can be identified by a dermatologist. Laser hair removal in such cases, without simultaneous treatment of the underlying disease, is tossing money out of the window.
